A new group of students embarks on the Tomorrow Belongs to You scholarship programme

Date: 2026.03.04
The spring term of the Tomorrow Belongs to You scholarship programme has begun at MOME, welcoming eighteen newly admitted students to the Campus. Over the coming months, they will meet on twelve weekends for SPARK training and preparatory sessions, continuing through to July. The first two weekends were spent exploring Budapest and the MOME Campus and getting to know one another, with inspiring conversations between students, tutors and mentors.

Participants are coming to Budapest from all corners of the country, including Baja, Békéscsaba, Debrecen, Eger, Kecskemét, Sárospatak, Fót, Nyíregyháza and Zalaegerszeg. Throughout the programme they are guided by eighteen MOME student mentors. This year, four of the mentors are previous recipients of the Tomorrow Belongs to You scholarship, bringing their own experience of the programme back into the group.

The first weekend focused on getting to know one another and building a sense of community. Students took part in introductory activities that helped them connect and prepared the ground for the months ahead. At the opening event, Libri Publishing Group presented the students with a package of books to support their professional and personal growth.

On Sunday, the group explored Budapest with their mentors, taking line 2 to the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art, where they saw the temporary exhibitions.

During the second weekend, they toured the MOME Campus and met tutors and workshop leaders, who introduced the creative processes behind the different programmes.

The Tomorrow Belongs to You scholarship programme was established by the Foundation for Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design to support talented and motivated secondary school students who would otherwise not have the financial means to pursue creative higher education and pass the entrance examination. Over the coming months, participants will gain new knowledge, experiences, professional connections, and a sense of community.
