It is with deep sadness we share the passing of János Probstner, founder and director for nearly 40 years of the International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemét.

He was a pioneering artist driven by ideals and visions, and the driving force behind the founding of the Studio. He gave everything he had to facilitate the free and democratic expression of artists.

A memorial service will be held and notified in time by the family.
