MOME diploma projects on the Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2024 shortlist

Arts Thread, the leading digital platform for emerging designers and artists, is organising the 5th Global Creative Graduate Showcase, which lists the most exciting diploma projects of art and design graduates from all over the world. This year over 5000 students uploaded their diploma projects. The independent expert panel of Arts Thread created the shortlist, and it is now the audience’s turn to vote. The 2024 shortlist includes 11 fresh MOME graduates!

Nominated projects in the ‘product/architecture/interiors’ category include Urban Oasis 2030 by Ádám Teket, Forevernest Kid’s Bed by Zoé Szokalopulosz, Sustanics Effects by Nóra Gulya, and I’ll Eat It When I See It by Flóra Lukovics. In the ‘fine art / photography / craft / jewellery’ category Hajnal Gyeviki’s Data Driven Ceramics – Sensitisation on the Ecology of Lake Balaton, Hunor Tóth’s Between the Church and the Abyss, Patrícia Koroknai’s Limbus, Lala Tóth’s My Diploma Collection, and Fanni Nagy’s Someday were shortlisted. In the ‘fashion/accessories/textiles’ category, the Moiré Bags collection by Nóra Frankó and the +–x collection by Boglárka Pitenyák were selected.

In the first written feature of our Q&Alumni series, we spoke with jewellery designer Patrícia Harsány, a 2021 graduate of the MOME Jewellery and Metal Design MA programme. MOME ANIM took centre stage at the renowned Annecy International Animation Film Festival and MIFA Market on 8–14 June, where Hungary was the guest of honour. MOME’s vibrant animation community showcased its globally acclaimed education through student films, film concepts, installations, and industry-led talks.
