God’s Eye artists’ retreat
Artists’ retreat in the woods For the renovation of the Haggenmacher villa, my top priority was to preserve the romantic, almost picturesque atmosphere of the place, which I found inspiring. Starting from there, I designed a centre that offer room for creating freely for every generation. The main driver of the building complex is the artists’ residence with spots awarded on a competitive basis. Moving in for a period of 6 to 12 months, the winning applicants can hold creative sessions for members of the community, in exchange for optimal creative and housing conditions. Adult and child visitors can both have the opportunity to get out of the rut and experience the joy of creation.
