The problem of my diploma collection is based on the phenomenon that nowadays the constant use of social media is causing psychological addiction in many people, from teenagers to adults.
My masterwork attempts to answer the negative effects of social media on the psyche. Through its form, structure, details, and use of materials, it helps the wearer to trigger self-soothing mechanisms more easily.
The body-hugging shapes, the use of soft materials that give a feeling of security and the details that help to relieve tension all serve this purpose. My collection is based on personal experience, but the lessons can be generalised.
