What can social design do to help combat modern slavery in the countryside?

Project overview
Student name
Emese Bukovinszky
Degree level
During my internship for the semester, I was involved in three main projects: one at the Bagázs Association, another at the MOME Innovation Center's Social Design Hub, and the third was the one selected for the Stefan Lengyel Scholarship of Excellence. All three projects share a social focus, prompting me to explore modern slavery from the perspective of my own city. Additionally, my local identity served as motivation for addressing this topic. The goal of my research project is to provide a deeper understanding of those involved to enhance the existing safety net, which provides these individuals with escape and liberation from complete vulnerability.
