At the next Architectural Matters event of the MOME Institute of Architecture on November 7, this time, in an unusual way, the participants can listen to a guided round table discussion with Vidic Grohar Arhitekti and Mertelj Vrabič Arhitekti, the curators of the Slovenian pavilion of the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, as well as Arhitekti Počivašek Petranovič.

The Budapest Design Week has been bringing together design professionals and enthusiast of the capital in mid-October for 20 years with exciting events. As part of these, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design once again presents a selection of diploma projects by freshly graduated MA students, this time downtown, off the University Campus.
Each year, the Architecture MA students of MOME’s Architecture Institute explore a specific subject. The focus of the 2022/2023 academic year was adaptive reuse.

The Spring 2023 series titled “Architectural Matters” features a diversity of lecturers from around Europe whose work focuses on the materialization of forward-thinking concepts. The wide range of expertise creates an opportunity for discussion and reflection on the state of creating our cities of tomorrow.

An extensive collaboration was launched by the Janus Pannonius Museum in 2020 under the name Op Art Academy, coordinating the work of students and teachers of four universities, including the MOME Architecture Institute. The spatial sculptures, designs, models and videos created during the workshops are featured in an exhibition that opened on 17 March in Pécs.
