Hungary is also putting a great importance on improving the competitiveness of museums, on increasing visitor-friendliness, on modernizing the infrastructure and on establishing completely new public institutions. Currently, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design is the only institution where you can study museum management in Hungary.
The Museum Management postgraduate training is designed for those who wish to work in the exhibiting industry, in exposition halls, museums, galleries and similar institutions or who are already employed in this area (private or public) and wish to broaden their knowledge.
Postgraduate courses at MOME are consequent to university level degree programs or other higher education level trainings (providing a certificate) in the following disciplines and areas: humanities, economics, communication, media and arts.
Events
Tizenöt éves lett a MOME Múzeumi Menedzsment és kultúramenedzsment képzése, melynek alkalmából szakmai napot rendez a Campuson. A Dialógusban című egésznapos program fókuszában a kortárs kultúra alakítói és közönsége áll, a kultúraközvetítés területeit, lehetőségeit járja körbe a képzés alumnijának aktív részvételével. A valaha itt végzett szakemberek ma már olyan intézmények kiemelkedő munkatársai, kurátorai mint a NEO Kortárs Művésze Tér, a Róth Miksa Emlékház és Gyűjtemény, a Deák17 Gyermek és Iúsági Művésze Galéria, az Esztergomi Keresztény Múzeum, a The Deep Creave Collecve, a Kiégő izzók, vagy az MNB Arts & Culture.
