The EVE Alarm System is an IoT solution designed to enhance residents' health and safety in apartment buildings. In Hungary today, over 100 people suffer carbon monoxide poisoning in their homes each year. These are often individuals living alone or the elderly who may lack immediate assistance if emergency services are delayed. The EVE Alarm System was designed to foster community solidarity and prompt assistance, particularly in emergency situations. Using sensors, it swiftly alerts neighbours when detecting hazardous conditions, contributing to the creation of more sustainable and secure homes. The system can help increase energy efficiency and minimise environmental and health risks. Through the use of a wide range of sensors, it provides a comprehensive solution for faster and more effective responses to everyday hazards resulting in increased safety and improved health for the residents.
