I based the design of the dessert plate primarily on the ingredients, form and consistencies of the classic cherry liquor chocolate. I created a closed and roundish form for the liquid consistencies, from which the food can be consumed by using straw. In addition to functioning as cutlery, the straw also defines the sequence of consumption. I made the rounded part of the plate complete with a collar form spun outward, where I served a crunchy texture reflecting the chocolate coating to achieve a whole experience of the cherry liquor chocolate.
