MOME Animation MA student Anna Tőkés invites those interested for a short film screening and a preceding roundtable discussion as part of the Friss Hús (Fresh Meat) Festival 2022.


The event starting on 17 June 2022 at 7:30 p.m. will feature a discussion by two-time Hungarian kayak Olympic, world and European champion Tamara Csipes, sport therapist dr. Gabriella Goschi and director of the documentary film ULTRA Balázs Simonyi about the impact of sport films on the perception and working of sports, focusing on athletes’ motivation and its portrayal in films. 

“The event is an extension of my research entitled “The Impact of Sports Films on the Perception and Working of Sports” completed under the New National Excellence Programme”, says Anna. 
The event is organised with support from the New National Excellence Programme and Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and will be curated by MOME Anim MA student Anna Tőkés.

A pop-up exhibition featuring jewellery pieces created by former and current students and educators from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) will open on 17 December at the Hungarian National Museum as part of the Shine! – The Time of Jewellery exhibition. The event will include a roundtable discussion moderated by art historian and head of the MOME Rector’s Cabinet Krisztina Kovács with contemporary jewellery designer and MOME teacher Flóra Vági, art collector Katalin Spengler, and jewellery curator Dr. Erika Kiss of the Hungarian National Museum about the interplay between tradition and innovation.
