Self-Statement

The aim of the project is to improve the social skills of children living with autism and to alleviate their anxiety triggered by the human touch within the framework of an activity/series of activities using the tools of new media art. The activity is based on the use of touch-generative MIDI controllers. These tools are used to create a calming environment, where the children can be more open to the tactile stimuli they are exposed to.
