At the end of March, Mirko Ilić, graphic designer and poster artist, will visit our university (MOME Budapest, Hungary) from New York.

The exhibition The Apples of Their Eyes by Rudolf Balogh Award winning photographer and Head of the MOME Photography BA Gábor Máté DLA habil. opened on 15 March 2023 at 12 noon at the Yossi Nahmias Photography Gallery in Jerusalem (Department of Photographic Communication Hadassah Academic College).

Béla Balázs Award, Hungarian Heritage Award and Prima Primissima Award-winning artist, head of the Animation Film Studio in Kecskemét, and director of the Kecskemét Animation Film Festival (KAFF) Ferenc Mikulás is visiting Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design to hold a master course on Wednesday, 8 March, from 5:00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the announcement of the winners of the Stefan Lengyel Scholarship of Excellence in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

MOME and the József Koszta Museum in Szentes is celebrating the Petőfi Memorial Year with a joint exhibition. Opening on 22 January 2023 at 10:00 a.m., on the Day of Hungarian Culture, the exhibition explores subject of the homeland and national symbols under the title Nation and Association – What does “Hungary Calls You” mean to you?.

From 12 o’clock noon on 20 December, our students once again relocate to MANYI to see off the year with a Christmas fair. This is your chance to do your Christmas shopping. The last MOME Fair of the year is a great opportunity to get unique gifts for your loved ones while supporting the work of young designers. Even if you are not looking to buy anything, and only want to see what MOME students are working on right now, come and have a look around and a chat.

From 12–16 December, the first end-of-year semester of the 2022/2023 academic year will proceed for 5 days. We look forward to seeing you at these events that are also open to the public. We warmly welcome to the university’s campus all those interested in the public events of the degree programmes.

The exhibition Trixie the Pixie: Flow House by our alumna Kitti Teleki will open on 7 December at 7:00 p.m. at K11 LABOR.

Teacher of the Photography BA Éva Szombat’s book launch and exhibition opening I Want Orgasm Not Rosesof will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, 1 December at Longtermhandstand Gallery.
