About us

Everything around us is constantly turning digital, from services to everyday routines. The way we can remain ourselves and the relationship we want to have with technology is very much up to us, digital product designers. Launched in 2021, the English-language programme provides students with solid professional knowledge and future-proof market competences, helping them compete anywhere in the world, despite the rapidly changing technological environment. Our university has been organising interaction design courses and research programmes since 2013. Uniquely, our students can learn directly from outstanding designers and researchers from outside MOME, gaining insights into their work as well.

The MA programme aims to train experts who will play a leading role in designing the most innovative digital services of the future. Designers graduating from here are familiar with the international scene and its opportunities, and are well-equipped to make a significant impact on digital culture.

Human Computer Interaction design will become a leading design role in the future, for which our students can prepare through our hands-on programme. The vision of the department is for graduates to move the world forward towards positive future visions through their work, in the face of constantly changing challenges.

Professional competences

Small, diverse student teams receive direct and quality mentoring to successfully develop their own design character and professional focus. The aim is to acquire a professional, knowledge-based, experimental, critical, creative, and future-oriented mindset. To this end, students work on real-life professional and social challenges, with the direct involvement of market partners. During the training, we focus on the successful participation of our students in international and local projects and on becoming familiar with international professional communities and conferences.

The knowledge gained in the Master’s programme provides the necessary technical and design theory background to allow our students to succeed in different fields.
