Social Design Network Symposium & Exhibition

13-14 October 2021 @MOME

The internationally unique Social Design Network (SDN), initiated by the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and Hadassah Academic College Israel was launched in 2020.

The scheme involves ten prestigious partner universities sharing knowledge and training socially sensitive designers and creative professionals by shared research, projects and courses, which activity is essential in the integration of social design into strategies tackling social and ecological problems.

The first in-person event of this new and innovative initiative takes place at MOME as a part of the Budapest Design Week 2021 in the form of an international symposium and exhibition. The program consists of exciting lectures, roundtable discussions and an international student exhibit highlighting the importance of social design and its opportunities in the future.

The opening of the exhibition and the symposium are free to attend, but subject to registration and can only be visited with a Hungarian immunity certificate or EU Digital COVID Certificate.
