Can tolerance be taught? This is the fundamental question that underpins Ágnes Kapitány and Gábor Kapitány’s research. For them, cultural anthropology is not just a discipline but a powerful tool to make the world a better place. On 28 November, the prestigious Moholy-Nagy Award, symbolising the university’s deep appreciation, was presented to them by Rector Pál Koós during the university’s annual Autumn Title Award and Moholy-Nagy Award Ceremony.

The recently published Somaesthetics and Design Culture, co-edited by DLA programme lead of the MOME Doctoral School Bálint Veres and world-renowned aesthete-philosopher Richard Shusterman (Florida Atlantic University) explores these issues in a greater depth.
