Best of MOME - Challenging Future
How might design respond to the complex issues of our time? What methodologies can be developed to ensure the preservation of traditional knowledge while simultaneously embracing cutting-edge technological advancements? These are the fundamental questions that we seek to address. The projects on display present a diverse range of perspectives on the future of design, each demonstrating a commitment to both professional heritage and innovation. In their work, our graduates put forward considered responses to contemporary issues, ranging from sustainability and social impact to the intersection of technology and human experience.
The title, "CHALLENGING FUTURE," reflects MOME's mission to address the most urgent concerns of the 21st century through a synthesis of design-based education, research, and practical expertise. The curatorial team selected these projects not only for their academic excellence but also for their capacity to prompt reflection and facilitate discourse on the pressing challenges currently facing us.
